2014-2018 BMW R1200GS (ADV ) Gas Tank Cover Guard Fairing Protector

I ordered the part for a 2014 1200GS, the part that was received fits models after 2018. When told it was the wrong part, they did not want to offer a refund or a way to return and receive the right part. They insisted that I try to make it fit and it was the correct part. For those that know the 1200GS, the tank cover from 2014 - 2018 would be the same and it would not have the little wings on the sides with the cut outs shown in the picture. It would also not have the indentation above where the whole for the fuel door is, as that indentation has a cover and it is where you would place the key fob for the moto as it has push button start, much like new autos. The compartment I refer to did not exist from 2014 - 2018 but rather in 2019 when the key fob came about as well as the wings on the side of the cutouts. I explained this to them several times via email, there is nobody to speak with and they insist that I should just make it fit. Do not order anything from these guys, they are scammers and horrible to deal with.
