Crankshaft was coated with some type of rust preventative that could only come off using a petroleum based solvent (like brake cleaner). Aside from that, after engine reassembly, the engine runs very smooth indicating that it's a well balanced crankshaft.
This crankshaft works well with my engine. Would definitely buy again. What a great shopping experience.
