This item threads into the engine block, and the oil filter then threads onto it. These are perfect for replacing damaged units, or deleting an oil cooler as you would when installing an Explorer engine in your Mustang.
Unlike the oddball 11mm Allen wrench the Ford part requires for installation, ours is 1/2" hex. Simply use a 1/2" bolt (like an intake bolt off of almost every Small Block Ford), thread a nut onto it, and turn it in with a 1/2" wrench. Easy!

I just this wiring harness on my 05 6.0L diesel about a week ago. It has completely changed how the truck runs and drives I am beyond satisfied. 99% of the pigtails fit perfectly. Took about an hour and a half to install and that was going very slow with occasional water breaks.
